# RentFAX: AI-powered rental risk intelligence

RentFAX is an AI-powered rental intelligence platform built for operators who can't afford to get the wrong renter. ## How it works

When you submit a renter for screening, RentFAX runs four checks in parallel:

1. **Identity verification** — confirms the document is real and matches the person presenting it
2. **Fraud signal analysis** — checks for duplicate IDs, shared addresses, and known fraud patterns
3. **Incident history** — searches the cross-operator network for prior reports filed against this renter
4. **Risk scoring** — combines all signals into a single 100–1000 score with an AI explanation

The entire process takes under a second. You see the score, the signals, and the full incident timeline — then decide.
